Maria has earned a great reputation in the industry as a professional who is highly skilled, down-to-earth, and very easy to work with. With a style of her own, she combines a friendly, outgoing nature with a warm, calming personality to handle every transaction with care and tenacity while recognizing the subtle and emotional aspects of each client’s transaction.
Maria owes her success to hard work, staying on top of the ever-changing market, diligent attention to her clients’ interests, and the repeat referrals that she receives from her satisfied clients!
In the early ’90s, an opportunity presented itself to Maria that would ultimately lead her into the real estate industry. She followed that lead and immediately fell in love with the real estate business. Maria has been helping clients sell, buy, rent and invest since then.
Through thoughtful preparation, detailed market insight, and excellent communication, Maria demystifies the buying and selling process to give her clients a competitive advantage in today’s tight market. She approaches the process with a cool head, a compassionate ear, and consummate professionalism.
Originally from Lisbon, Portugal, Maria’s early career path allowed her to travel and live around the globe. Maria visited over 35 countries on five continents. She lived, worked, and studied for extensive periods in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East before permanently moving to Miami 35+years ago.
Her global knowledge, international background and the cultural diversity she experienced, give Maria a distinct edge over the competition. The experiences that come along with interacting with different cultures, languages, and ways of life reflect positively in her personality and work performance. Maria has an exceptional ability to understand and work with diverse cultural environments, especially when she needs to evaluate the dynamics of different cities or suburban communities.
When she’s not working, Maria loves spending time with her family and traveling together whenever possible. She enjoys swimming, reading, taking long walks by the water listening to her favorite tunes and cooking for her family and friends… and she never forgets to have fun with the family’s big pups, Rex and Storm.
Maria is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French.

"Maria did an exceptional job with finding the perfect home for my family and she was extremely prompt and professional. My family and I had to move out of our residence due to unbearable construction that was occurring in the early hours of the morning in our recent neighborhood. The management company let us out of the lease but we had less than 3 days to cancel the lease without penalty. I contacted 5 different agents and Maria was immediately on it.
